Please reach us at nicolitaliapizza@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We are open 11 am to Midnight, Monday through Friday, 11 am to 9 pm on Saturday. We are closed Sundays. Starting at 8 pm Monday - Thursday and 9 pm on Friday, we switch to our express "Nico's at Night" menu, featuring our "bigger than your face" slices, breadsticks, salads, and appetizers.
As a small, family business, we value time with family, for ourselves and for our staff. We work to balance that with the needs of our customers. We remain open on most "bank" holidays (e.g. President's Day). We are closed on "BBQ holidays" - Memorial Day, July 4th, Pioneer Day, and Labor Day. We close for several days around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's so our staff can spend time with family. We are also occasionally closed for special events (e.g. family weddings). Please follow us on social media to be updated on any special hours.
We do not offer delivery. Our dining room is open until midnight weekdays. We also offer carry-out options.
We do not partner with any delivery services. We cannot guarantee the quality of our food with third party delivery companies, so we don't work with them. We want to make sure you receive consistent, quality pizza every time.
We offer an in-house developed gluten-free crust in 8" and 12" sizes. We also offer salads and wings. Please note that our kitchen does have a lot of flour, and we cannot guarantee no cross-contamination from wheat flour.
Our pizza sauce, pizza crust, and gluten-free crusts are all vegan. We offer a wide variety of veggies to top our pizza and our salads. We do not carry a non-dairy cheese as we have not found one we are ready to stand behind. Please let our staff know if you are looking for vegetarian or vegan options.
Please let our staff know about any potential allergies, and we will do our best to find a solution for you. For those with extreme allergies, please know that all of the following are in our kitchen: wheat, dairy, soy, sesame, almonds, peanut butter. And of course all of the toppings and ingredients specifically listed on our menu.
Our dining room is first come, first served for seating. We do accept pre-orders for food, but cannot promise that the dining room won't be full at any specific time. For questions about large orders, group events, and private parties, please contact us directly.
EVERYTHING! (And we aren't biased at all.) We are proud of our food and think you should try it all. If you are new to Nico's, please check out our "New to Nico's" checklist.
Nico's sauce (or "House sauce") is our proprietary, creamy Italian vinaigrette. Originally a salad dressing, it is a favorite for dipping breadsticks, drizzling on pizza, or even using as a pizza sauce. For legal purposes, reports of Nico's sauce being addictive have never been scientifically confirmed.
Our sauces are delicious, because they are all made with love. The serious answer is that most of our sauces are made weekly, in-house, using our own recipes. We make our own house sauce, pizza sauce, margherita sauce, alfredo, pesto, marinara, buffalo, and caramel sauces. Most of our sauces are available for purchase by the pint so you can enjoy them at home.
While we are glad people enjoy our food and want to eat it all the time, we do want you to come to our store for it. We could tell you, but then we would have to kill you. (For legal reasons, that is a joke.)
We are passionate about our pizza, and that shows in every part of the process. We make our dough with a cold-fermentation process that requires 72 hours to mature. This process delivers a dough that is crispy, flavorful, and more easily digested. We blend our own sauces in-house to deliver unique flavors. We use Grande whole milk mozzarella cheese - it is all natural, with no fillers or preservatives, and is simply the best we have found. We cut our vegetable toppings in house to ensure freshness. And we source our other toppings from trusted brands like Stanislaus, Hormel, and Fontanini. We stretch and top each pizza by hand and cook the pizza directly on a 550 degree stone. We strive to make every pizza a great experience.
We love to experiment in the kitchen! We regularly try new and different flavor combinations, especially during our "Nico's @ Night" hours. Some of these pizzas make it to our main menu (Bunker Hill, Villanova); others become part of Nico's not-so-secret menu (Sweet and Sassy, Dr Pepperoni). There are many other pizzas that have toppings that are too seasonal or expensive to stock regularly (breakfast pizzas, Big Tex). We do bring them back regularly though. Follow us on social media to be notified when Limited-time-offering slices will be appearing during Nico's @ Night.
Both items are a type of "pocket pizza" made from our 8" pizza dough. Calzones are filled with cheese and toppings, and then folded over and sealed to form a half circle shape. Calzones usually don't have sauce inside (unless it is a drizzle like BBQ or Buffalo). Strombolis are filled with sauce, cheese, and toppings, and then are braided closed to create a unique, filled "loaf". Both are served with a dipping sauce.
Delivering quality food and a consistent experience is our priority. As a result, there are limits to the types of events we can support (e.g. size, timing, and distance). To see if we might be a fit for your particular needs, please email us details and questions.
